About Eternity In View

Hello, and welcome. My name is Timothy Weaver, and I’m the author of I Am Eternal: Living a Life of Encouragement and Hope and Eternity in View.

My journey — and this ministry — began long before any book was published.

A Life-Changing Moment

At the age of sixteen, I experienced a life-altering gymnastics accident.

At the time, I was a nationally ranked competitive gymnast — among the top 50 in the nation in my age group and level — with a deep passion for the sport and dreams of what my athletic future might hold.

In an instant, everything changed.

The accident left me a quadriplegic, and the road ahead was one I could never have imagined. But even in the hardest moments, God met me with a strength that wasn’t my own. Through extensive recovery, personal struggle, and learning what it means to trust God in the unknown, I discovered a deeper purpose — one rooted not in physical ability, but in identity, faith, and hope that cannot be shaken.

Education, Calling, and Purpose

By God’s grace, I went on to:

• Graduate from high school

• Attend and graduate from Franklin & Marshall College

• Build a fulfilling career as a software developer, a field I’ve now worked in for nearly 30 years

• Grow in faith, perseverance, and perspective

I’m also blessed to be married, and my wife Geri and I have two grown sons who continue to be one of our greatest joys.

Why I Write

For decades, God has been teaching me what encouragement truly means — not shallow positivity, but the kind of deep, Scripture-rooted hope that sustains us through suffering, uncertainty, and change.

Writing is the way I share that hope.

My books and devotionals are for:

• People walking through difficult seasons

• Those who feel discouraged or spiritually dry

• Anyone wondering where God is in their story

• Believers who need fresh reminders of God’s promises

• Individuals longing for peace, purpose, and encouragement

My prayer is that the words I write bring light into dark places and remind you that God’s strength is real, present, and eternal — even when life looks nothing like you expected.

Beyond Writing

My wife Geri and I also run Puffin Place Designs, an Etsy and Shopify business where we create meaningful gifts and products — especially for dog lovers. It’s a creative outlet we enjoy together, and another way we hope to bring joy into people’s homes.
